Kimberley Walsh has just become a mother for the first time after giving birth to a baby boy whom she and her longtime partner Justin Scott have described as "perfect," adding another addition to the Girls Aloud baby club.
After managing to keep the news quiet for several hours, Kimberley, 32, finally shared the exciting news with fans earlier today via Twitter in a sweet message which also revealed the name she and Justin have decided on for their bundle of joy. "Our beautiful baby boy Bobby arrived yesterday afternoon 04/09/14 he's perfect," an elated Kimberley tweeted.
It wasn't long before the congratulatory messages came flooding in and her former Girls Aloud bandmates couldn't wait to lead the way with BFF Cheryl Fernandez-Versini gushing: "@KimberleyJWalsh He really is he's perfect !" while Nicola Roberts chimed in: "@CherylOfficial @KimberleyJWalsh he is and I can't believe he's here I'm [crying] too." Nicola later added on Instagram alongside a photo of a woman with happy tears: "These are the kind of ones that happen when Kimberley my <3 now has a baby.. So so proud of you xo."
Fellow Girls Aloud stars Sarah Harding and Nadine Coyle are yet to publicly send on their congratulations although, Nadine will no doubt want to cheer on her fellow new mum after she herself gave birth to her first child, daughter Anaiya, in February. Some of Kimberley's other celeb pals have passed on messages on Twitter, with Denise Van Outen tweeting:
"Beyond happy for you and Justin. Had a feeling you would have a boy! Enjoy every second," while The Saturdays singer Rochelle Humes added: "Big congrats to the both of you Lovely news xx Special times."

While further details on the birth are yet to be revealed, Kimberley recently admitted that she was keen on having Justin film the birth, writing in her column for OK! magazine: "I've been thinking about whether I want the birth filmed or not, and I've decided I'd quite like Justin to film it. It's such a special thing and I think I'd like to be able to see it myself. But I don't know if, in that moment, Justin will have the composure to do it - and I wouldn't want to take away from his experience of watching it."
Speaking about motherhood just a couple of weeks ago, Kimberley told the Mail Online: "It's the one time in my life where I can take time out and not plan. 'I'm looking forward to a chilled few months with the family in the run up to Christmas where I can just get cosy at home."
Congratulations to Kimberley and Justin and welcome to the world, Bobby!
