The Live With Kelly and Michael host simply took a selfie of herself clad in sexy lingerie strictly to impress her husband Mark Consuelos, but it couldn't have gone more wrong as it didn't just end up in the wrong hands, but the mobile phones of her spouse's shocked parents. You've gotta feel for her!
Explaining the gaff, a red-faced Kelly explained during her appearance on the Late Show With David Letterman this week exactly how the "belfie" ended in their iCloud accounts: "I sent him a cute, adorable butt selfie in my underpants. It's the only time I've ever sent a semi-nude anything, ever!"
So what happened next? "My mother and father-in-law respond from their email and they're like, 'Dear Kelly, we are so proud of all your hard work. 'Your exercise classes are really paying off.'" Oh, the embarrassment!

Laughing at the cringe-worthy incident, Kelly later took a photo of herself from the back while backstage at the late night talk show, with the cheeky caption: "Will Dave figure out what a belfie is? Find out tonight on @Letterman."
There's a lesson to be learned folks - Be careful you belfie!
