Gwyneth Paltrow Confesses It's Not Easy Juggling Career With Family Life
Sep 26th 2014, 14:18, by Becca Longmire

Gwyneth Paltrow may not always be everyone's favourite person all of the time, with her often making some rather controversial comments in terms of family life. But, it seems like the model actually does face everyday issues in terms of balancing her career with her two children, with her speaking out in a brand new interview about the struggles that she faces on an everyday basis.

Gwyneth may seem confident, but she has said that she often thinks that she's a failure, with her telling Viva magazine that she often questions whether or not she can do everything, especially when it comes down to her two children that she has with ex husband Chris Martin - Apple, 10 and Moses, eight."'Some days I just think I am failing everywhere," she said in the new issue, which comes out October 1. "Like today I was making lunch and saying to myself 'this lunch is so bad' throwing pasta in the lunch bag, yelling 'get in the car'. I was losing my cool." Paltrow then added: "I think it's very hard to try to find the right balance and I think we all aspire to that balance, but it's easier said than done. It's just a matter of trying your best each day and not being too hard on yourself about things."

Gwyneth hit headlines previously when she spoke about "her having it harder than a mum working an average 9-5 job", because she works long hours on movie sets. However, she seemed keen to back up this point during the interview, saying: "I think when you are a working mother it is always very difficult, in fact it's difficult if you are a mother anyway even if you are not working."

She then added of making things work: "It's the demand, the responsibility and the love - it's a lot and trying to balance a career with it makes it hard. I have a lot of respect for women who try to do both things, because I really struggle."
