As she continues to deal with the aftermath of her shock split from Tom Ellis she's learned that taking care of her two girls as a single mother is a difficult task.
Tamzin Outhwaite, whose marriage to the actor ended in 2013, has told The Daily Telegraph that juggling work and caring for her daughters Florence, five, and Marnie, two, hasn't been easy.
She said: 'It's tough working as a single parent, but I'm lucky enough to have chunks of time when I'm at home and a huge circle of friends and family, although my biggest extravagance is child care.

'It's not as if I'm struggling financially... my hat goes off to those who have that burden of sorry as well.'
While reports have circulated that Tom, 35, cheated on Tamzin, 43, the actress has refused to directly address any of the speculation.
She told the newspaper: 'I can't talk about it. Of course, there's a part of me that wants to set the record straight, but I don't want to put any more stuff out there on to the internet for my children to end up reading.

'If the price for that is being seen in an unflattering light now, then it's one I'm prepared to pay.'
However, the former Eastenders star did go on to say that she'd have saved the marriage if it was in her power to, explaining: 'I'm the sort of person who makes the best of things.
'I will always find a way to make things work, if I can. All I can say is that I believe I would have done anything to keep us together as a family but that wasn't what happened.'

She added: 'Things will be all right in the end. And if they're not all right - then it's not the end.'
Earlier this year, Tamzin told Good Housekeeping that despite the heartache of her marital breakdown, she still had't given up on romance.
She said: 'I'm not down on men or thinking I'm never going to get married again. If someone honest and kind came along I think I would be up for it but not right now! Not yet. I want to have a laugh.'
Tamzin and Tom married in 2006, a year after they were introduced by mutual pal Tom McAvoy.
