She's been a resident of Emmerdale Farm for more than two decades.
But on Thursday evening, fans of the soap will say an emotional goodbye to Donna Windsor as she appears on the nation's screens for the last time.
ITV released a selection of revealing pictures ahead of the tragic episode, in which the estranged wife of Marlon Dingle will make a 'horrific' exit.

'It will really shock viewers,' admitted actress Verity Rushworth, who plays the corrupt police officer.
'There's a hostage situation, where Donna has to make a split-second decision that will have tragic consequences.'
In the emotional footage, viewers will see terminally ill Donna try to cut ties with soap villain Gary North but matters quickly turn disastrously wrong.

She arrives to meet him on a rooftop with the intention to put him behind bars for a very long time but in a shock twist, it emerges that Gary is far from alone when he turns up to meet her.
It then rapdily dawns on Donna that she has no choice but to make the ultimate sacrifice, despite knowing she will be leaving behind her only daughter April.
Donna's final scenes will be aired on ITV1, Thursday at 7pm.
