In the right place, at the right time, Friday's episode of EastEnders will see Kat Moon taken straight to a delivery room with doting husband Alfie (Shane Richie) by her side after she goes into labour.
The touching episode will see Kat and Alfie finally be granted their hearts's desires with the safe arrival of their twin boys Bert and Ernie Moon.
In images released ahead of the shows transmission Kat (Jessie Wallace) can be seen gazing at the babies following their sudden entrance into the world as she lies in a hospital bed.

Happy Ending: The boys make a shock arrival to Walford after Kat goes into labour while visiting Jean in hospital but luckily Alfie is right by her side
Make-up free, Kat cuddles the two boys as their proud father Alfie gently strokes them.
It's safe to say that Kat and Alfie Moon are going to have their hands full with these two.
The couple will welcome the twins into their family in Friday's episode, having named the two boys in blue after famous Muppets characters.
Following a turbulent pregnancy for Kat, there's a happy ending for the traditionally unlucky pair when they bring the two babies home to Albert Square.

The mini Moons, played by newborns Freddie and Stanley Beale, make convincing new additions to the family as the stare up at their new parents.
In the first pictures of EastEnders's new happy family, the babies are dressed in matching jumpsuits which to coordinate with their bright blue eyes.
Kat cuddles into her long-awaited newborns in a trademark leopard print dress and red lipstick, while Alfie keeps it kooky in a patterned shirt and gold 'Alfie' belt.

But it's not Kat's first birth, as she and Alfie became parents to their first son Tommy in 2010.
Tommy happened to be born on the same day as Ronnie Mitchell's baby James.
But when Ronnie's baby died shortly after, she takes it upon herself to switch the children and pretend that Tommy is her baby, James.
It's another year before the couple are reunited with their son Tommy Moon.
Viewers may remember that Kat is also the mother of Zoe Slater, whom she had when she just was 13 years old, so this will be the character's third and fourth child.
