Beyonce appeared to keep her distance from her sister Solange during the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday evening.
The Crazy In Love hitmaker sat with husband Jay Z for the star-studded ceremony, while the 28-year-old was nowhere to be seen while the gongs were handed out.
The couple, who put on a loved-up display on stage while accompanied by daughter Blue Ivy, chose instead to watch the goings-on with Beyonce's former bandmate Kelly Rowland.

The apparent snub comes just comes three months after footage of Solange viciously attacking her brother-in-law in an elevator emerged, fueling reports that all was not well in the power couple's six year marriage.
Mother-of-one Solange had walked the red carpet solo in a sparkling trouser suit, worn with nothing underneath, before posing with singer Luke James.
Beyonce's two-year-old daughter remained on her father's knee during her 20 minute medley of her latest album, while pregnant Kelly, 33, was perched next to him.

The tender display was a long way from the scenes witnessed between the 99 Problems star and Solange earlier this year, which could have been the reason for their distance on the night.

A source told New York Post's Page Six that Solange's elevator outburst came after she concluded the rapper was planning to meet Rihanna later at a club without wife Beyonce. 'Solange was like, "Enough is enough - you must be [screwing] Rihanna,"' the insider said at the time.
However Beyonce's mum Tina told TMZ that the couple's marriage was 'perfect' as she left a lunch date at Via Allogro on Wednesday.
The 60-year-old was heard saying: 'Haters are going to hate, there's nothing we can about that. Everything's perfect', when approached about the couple.
