Catelynn Lowell is going to be a mom for the second time.
She confirmed as much on Instagram this week, as the former Teen Mom star and her fiance and stepbrother, Tyler Baltierra, 22, are going to be first-time parents.
You read that right. Their first daughter, Carly, now 5, was put up for adoption when the couple's heartbreaking story first premiered on 16 & Pregnant in 2009.
Incredibly, they have been together the entire time since.
"#it'sofficial #4months," Catelynn captioned the photo above, in which she is clutching her baby bump while standing on what appears to be a boat.
Four months? She seems farther along than that, no?
In any case, it was been widely expected that Tyler got Catelynn Lowell pregnant a second time after family members started talking about it online this summer.
The duo, who picked a wonderful couple in Brandon and Teresa Davis to raise their little girl, plan to raise the second one themselves, which is exciting.
They have what is called an "open adoption" with the Davis family, which means they are allowed contact with Carly through email, phone calls, and even visits.
Carly's adoptive parents dislike social media and have asked Catelynn and Tyler not to share any photos of her on their accounts, which they agree to.
Catelynn and Tyler, who both graduated high school and attended Baker college, will likely share very many shots of their second child in the coming years.
As for whether we'll see the baby on MTV?
There has been talk of reuniting the fab four for another season, but Catelynn's nemesis, Farrah Abraham, will not be participating if the other three get their way.
Cate is the first member of the Teen Mom cast to get pregnant again, as Farrah, Maci Bookout and Amber Portwood still have only the one child apiece.
On Teen Mom 2, Chelsea Houska is the only parent of one, as Jenelle Evans, Kailyn Lowry and Leah Messer have all had another kid by a new guy.
