News just in, for all you fans of The Bachelor! Chris Soules has now been confirmed as the next star of the show, with the official announcement being made on Good Morning America, earlier today.
Chris, who is known to fans as 'Farmer Chris', has been the frontrunner for a while now, and managed to pip Arie Luyendyk Jr. to the post, eventually. During this morning's interview, Chris made sure to tell his fans that he was "humbled" and "flattered" to be chosen, also saying that the show had always been a favourite amongst his family members.
"I mean, coming from a small town I never really expected to have this opportunity to be on either show let alone to be the lead on The Bachelor, so it's been awesome," he said. "It's my mom's favorite show."
Too cute!

Chris then went on to speak about his time on Andi Dorfman's season of The Bachelorette, admitting that he's now ready to fall in love again, after falling for her on the show.
"Absolutely, that's why I am doing it. I believe in the process I believe in what I went through on the previous show and that's why I am doing it I wouldn't do it if I didn't feel like…" Chris gushed, when quizzed about the brunette.
He also said that he'd actually stayed friends with Andi, after the show had finished: "I've been able to remain friends with Andi and she encouraged me to just be myself!" he shared on Twitter, during a quick Q & A with fans.
"I am going to do my best and think I'll do well," Chris then said about his upcoming TV appearance. "I'm looking forward to it."
