The musical for those who hate musicals, Into the Woods has made it to the big screen and finally it has a trailer so we see just what Rob Marshall has done with Stephen Sondheim's chilling fairytale and on first glance it looks incredible!
But this is no ordinary musical, oh no! In fact you'll notice that the trailer steers well clear of any music at all.
Following some of the most loved characters from the classic tales of the Brother's Grimm, Into The Woods stars your favourite childhood heroes but while we all thought we knew the stories of Cinderella and Jack and the Beanstalk so well, it turns out their fate may not have been as happily ever after as we thought.

Andl if the credits alone are anything to go by it's a pretty safe bet Into The Woods is going to be a bit of a corker. With a Best Picture Oscar under his belt for Chicago, director Rob is already a dab hand bringing our favourite musicals to cinemas and with Meryl Streep starring as The Witch – need we say more?
Tony award winning Brit James Corden plays a childless Baker who ventures through the gloomy woods to take on The Witch hoping to life his family curse, bumping into a few familiar faces along the way.

Emily Blunt stars as his wife while the cast also boasts Anna Kendrick as Cinderalla, Chris Pine as Cinderalla's prince charming, Lilla Crawford as Little Red Riding Hood and Johnny Depp as the Big Bad Wolf and when we say Big Bad Wolf we men bigger and badder than you've ever seen Johnny before!
And director Rob has promised that fans expect another stellar Captain Sparrow-worthy performance from Johnny, telling People.com: "Johnny loved the idea of playing the Big Bad Wolf. He had such fun with it. He becomes the Wolf. His song is THE SONG."

But not everyone was as keen to show off their vocal prowess as Johnny. Emily Blunt admitted that she found the prospect of singing in front of actual people a pretty terrifying experience, admitting: "On the first day there was that awful stomach-turning moment when Rob said, 'OK, we're all going to sing.
"We all screamed because up until that point we had all been singing in our own private little caves. And now we had to sing in front of each other. Even Meryl was screaming." And Meryl's a musical veteran!
Sadly Into The Woods won't be hitting our screens for a while with a release date of New Year's Day here in the UK but for now you can watch the trailer below…..
