Former JLS star Oritse Williams is one proud dad and he wants everyone to know after he took to Twitter last night to announce that he and his wife have welcomed a baby boy into the world.
Oritse, who shot to fame as one fourth of the boyband JLS on the X Factor in 2008, kept the news that his girlfriend Aimee Jade was pregnant with their first child a secret until July 19 when he posted a picture on his Twitter page showing Aimee sporting a bump.
More than happy to tweet about the arrival of his little bundle of joy, proud dad Oritse tweeted: "I watched in awe as @AJAzari gave birth to our 1st born son on Sunday 24th at 1.49am. He is my Treasure of life! x."
Sharing more details of their baby boy, Aimee, who is a dancer and met Oritse when they performed together on the reality TV show, Stepping Out, posted on her social networking site: "So happy to announce that on Sunday 24th at 1.49am we welcomed our precious baby boy, weighing 6lbs 3 to the Azari-Williams Family. .......so in love with our precious baby boy!!!! @Oritse xxx."
Congratulations to the couple!
Tweeting his congratulations to the couple, Oritse's JLS fellow band member Marvin Humes who has a daughter with The Saturdays' Rochelle, posted: "Huge congrats to @Oritse and @AJAzari on the birth of their baby boy! Can't wait to meet Williams Jnr! Big love guys x". Rochelle added: "Congrats to @Oritse and @AJAzari on the birth of their little baby boy 👶👼💙Special times #family xx"
Whilst, Aston Merrygold simply retweeted Oritse's message, JB Gill who is expecting his first child with wife Chloe in the coming months, tweeted: "Such amazing news!!!congratulations!over the moon for @Oritse and @AJAzari what a beautiful gift from God,can't wait to meet him!x"
