Ed Sheeran has come clean about a bitter break-up in a new track about a 'singer ex' - which fans reportedly believe refers to Ellie Goulding.
After being linked with the Burn star last summer, the 23-year-old is thought to reveal details about what happened between them in new track Don't, when he discusses a girlfriend who cheated on him with a pal, the Daily Mirror has reported.
'The last album was more young and dewy-eyed and innocent. I've still got very nice songs on this record but some of them are bitey', he told the newspaper, when asked about new album X.

'The story in Don't is 100 per cent true. I could have gotten nastier, there was more s*** that I didn't put in.
'I was seeing someone for a bit, and then they ended up physically involved with one of my friends in the same hotel that we were staying in, while I was downstairs', the Halifax-born hitmaker added.
Both Ed and Ellie performed at V Festival in 2013, when the latter is believed to have shared a kiss with One Direction's Niall Horan, which she strongly denied.
