Speaking to Entertainmentwise, Simon Cowell said that when it comes to his work, "nothing's changed" since the birth of his son, Eric. And he was right, as the music mogul has managed to squeeze in a trip to Los Angeles whilst his partner, Lauren Silverman, is left looking after their child.
As the 54-year-old was touching down in LA, 36-year-old Lauren was nearly 3000 miles away in New York, taking their seven-week-old son through the airport.

Meanwhile, Simon looked confident and as he made his way through the airport in jeans and a grey jumper.

He took the time to chat with fans outside LAX airport and even took a selfie with one of his female admirers.
But he may have been suffering from jetlag, as he stepped outside in a pair of aviator sunglasses, despite it being the middle of the night.

And he will have been missing baby Eric, who he previously described as "really cool and super sweet".

But it wont be long before he will be reunited with his family, as he will be meeting up with the pair in 10 days time.
