Coachella is a music festival close to The Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev's heart, especially as she made a very public outing with her then-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder at the Palm Springs festival back in 2012 - so it's no surprise that the actress has headed back again this year.
The actress couldn't attend the festival last year, but revealed to her fans that she was going to the desert for some fun in the sun.

Last week, Vampire Diaries wrapped its fifth season and to celebrate, Nina is heading to watch the likes of Arcade Fire, OutKast, Bastille and Calvin Harris play some tunes.
"And thats a wrap on Season 5! Wow. Half a decade... Leaving Mystic Falls and heading to sunshine&musical heaven. #tvd #coachella," she tweeted on Friday (April 11).
Looks as though that Nina has been having a good time as she tweeted just a few hours ago: "Life isn't measured in the amount of times we breathe, but the moments that take our breathe a away."
Nina is most likely with her BFF Julianne Hough, who also headed to the fesitval this weekend but she was also seen hanging with MTV presenter Laura Whitmore. Check out this cute snap:
