One Direction certainly aren't everyone's cup of tea, but one person who has taken an extremely strong disliking to the band is Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme, who said that he'd rather drive off a cliff than listen to the 1D album.
The finale of Relentless Ultra Presents Soundchain airs this Sunday (September 28) on MTV Music and it sees Zane Lowe interviewing the Palm Desert rocker. The episode is going to feature live performances from the band, as well as Josh's friendship with Foo Fighters founding member Dave Grohl. However, the main thing that caught our eye when we found out about the interview, was the fact that Homme really doesn't like the 1D boys!

The singer is openly caught on camera having a rather dramatic disagreement with his daughter over whether or not they were going to listen to the group's album on the way to school, with him giving her the ultimatum: "Do you want it [the car] to go over a cliff or do you want it [the car] to go to school? You decide, you're eight."

You can understand why 1D may not be QOTSA's fave band, with the rock band headlining this year's Reading and Leeds Festival, alongside the likes of Blink 182, Paramore and Arctic Monkeys. They're definitely a lot heavier than the Kiss You superstars! One Direction, on the other hand, have been busy touring the globe with their mammoth Where We Are staium tour, playing to thousands of screaming girls every night.
