Brenton Thwaites and Taylor Swift may have been surrounded by romance rumours at the end of last year, after the pair filmed The Giver together. But, it seems like the songstress may still be on the market, because Brenton has now denied that the co-stars ever dated. They would make a super cute couple though, wouldn't they?
When quizzed about the Love Story hitmaker in a new interview with the Daily Mail Australia, Brenton joked that although the couple never saw each other in a romantic way, he wouldn't mind if Taylor made some kind of musical tribute to him, as she's known to do when it comes down a lot of her exes.
"I wouldn't mind if she wrote a song about me," the 25-year-old Aussie said. "She can write a song about me if she wants, I just don't know what it would be about... it could be about anything!"

Taylor has famously written songs like I Knew You Were Trouble, rumoured to be about Harry Styles and Dear John, that's about John Mayer, but Brenton joked that his hometown (Cairns in North Queensland) is more inspirational, than his and Taylor's non- existent relationship.
"It could be about me and Cairns!" he laughed, but then said: "No! Don't write about that, Taylor!
"There's more interesting things to write about in the world than me and Cairns."

It seems like there's just no shutting the actor up, when it comes down to discussing his alleged romance with T-Swizzle, with him also telling J-14 that the singer didn't always get his jokes. Oh dear!
He told the mag: "She's pretty funny, but an Aussie's sense of humor is a whole new kettle of flies."
"A couple of jokes on my behalf went AWOL," Brenton then added.
