Their 'On The Run Tour' may have finished earlier this month, but it appears Jay-Z wasn't ready to let go of the idea of performing on the stage with his wife, Beyonce after she made a surprise appearance during the Global Citizen Festival.
Having put on show stopping performance himself when he headlined the festival in front of 60,000 fans in New York's Central Park, Jay decided to give his fans and extra treat when he introduced Beyonce onto the stage. The star looked stunning in a buttoned down white shirt and high waisted black trousers, as she made her way onto the stage and launched into 'Holy Grail' with her beau, according to NY Daily News.
The couple's show of unity on stage in front of thousands of people, once again dismissed any ideas that the couple were going through marital issues.
Whilst Beyonce's surprise appearance may have stolen the show, fans also enjoyed performances from country superstar Carrie Underwood and new The Voice coach Gwen Stefani who took to the stage with No Doubt. Sting and Alicia Keys also made their presence known through performances on stage.

This isn't the first time that Bey and Jay have shocked fans with surprise performances as Bey sent the crowd wild when she introduced Jay onto the stage at the Sound Of Change Live concert that took place last year.
