Matt Damon has insisted his time as Jason Bourne on the big screen may not be over, revealing he'd love to return to the role.
The actor's three movies playing the CIA assassin grossed over £1 billion combined at the global box office and cemented Matt's status as a leading man in Hollywood.
Matt stepped away from the franchise after the third outing The Bourne Ultimatum though with Jeremy Renner taking over the lead role, as a different character, for the 2012 movie The Bourne Legacy.
Speaking to CNBC, Damon said that if the story was right, he and director Paul Greengrass could reunite for another big screen adventure:
"I've always been open to it if Paul Greengrass is the director," he said, adding that he would "love to see what happened to him (Bourne)".

Could Matt return as Bourne?
"We've just never been able to come up with a story. So if any of your viewers have a story, please call Universal and submit it."
Meanwhile, a fifth film in the Bourne series has been confirmed, according to reports. The latest installment in the franchise will open in US cinemas on 14 August 2015, with Jeremy Renner set to reprise his role as agent Aaron Cross.
