Say it ain't so...

Cheryl Cole has unfortunately had to make the ultimate sacrifice…give up her favorite food. That's right, the 30-year-old has revealed that her doctor has stopped her from eating this exquisite dish because of allergies.

So what is this amazing food that she can no longer eat? Unfortunately for Cheryl, it is sushi.

In a new interview with Hello! Magazine, Cheryl spoke about how she now has an intolerance to the dish when asked about her slimmer figure.

"I have been diagnosed as being intolerant to soya, so maybe that has made a difference," she revealed. "Sadly it means no more sushi - that used to be my favorite food."

All is not lost however, as Cheryl has now adopted a new favorite food. Burrata Mozzarella is now her go-to dish.

"Now it's burrata mozzarella...I'm a bit obsessed," she admitted.

The singer has looked noticeably thinner in the last few weeks. However, she apparently doesn't do any extreme dieting to stay in shape.

"I don't follow any strict diets, I just eat sensibly," she explained to FeelingUnique.com. "I'm not eating McDonald's or pizza every day but I do allow myself one cheat day a week, normally on a Sunday. I have a really sweet tooth and love cupcakes, doughnuts. Basically anything that's really bad for you."

Cheryl is currently preparing to release her single Crazy Stupid Love, which will debut in the UK on June 2.
