'Happy Days': Louis Tomlinson Poking Fun At Drug Scandal? Singer Tweets The Same Phrase From Drug Video
May 31st 2014, 02:59

Louis Tomlinson hasn't said a word about the drug scandal that hit One Direction on Tuesday after a video of him and Zayn Malik smoking a joint leaked, however, the One Direction star may have just broken his silence in a sneaky way.

The boy band continued their Where We Are tour in Manchester on Friday, and after the show was over, Louis Tomlinson tweeted a thank you to the fans.

"Great show tonight , great crowd ! Happy days !!" the singer tweeted after the show.

What makes the tweet interesting is that "Happy Days" is the same phrase that Louis Tomlinson used in the leaked video to describe the moment that him and Zayn Malik are smoking a joint.

Great show tonight , great crowd ! Happy days !!

It seems that fans also picked up on the possible pun, as one fan replied to Louis by saying, "@Louis_Tomlinson "Happy days" really?"

Another fan was so shocked that they immediately asked him if it was a reference to the video.

"@Louis_Tomlinson HAPPY DAYS IS THAT A REFERENCE TO THE VIDEO," they anxiously asked.

One fan interpreted the tweet to mean that he could be smoking a joint again in that very moment he made the tweet.

"Is the joint lit?!" they added to his tweet.

@Louis_Tomlinson "Happy days" really?

Louis' mysterious tweet comes after he and Zayn Malik were caught on tape smoking a hand rolled cigarette while controversially talking about marijuana in the video.

Until now, the only official statement has been from One Direction's team who stated, "This matter is in the hands of our lawyers."

One Direction will continue their Where We Tour again in Manchester on Saturday.
