TV star Susanna Reid has opened up about the collapse of her relationship to ex-partner Dominic Cotton - and revealed that her fame made it worse.
In an interview with The Sun, the news anchor and TV host revealed that life in the public eye made the process of separation far more complex than usual.
It comes as her latest TV project, Good Morning Britain, will start broadcasting from Monday.

The 43-year-old newsreader, who quit her role as BBC Breakfast co-presenter to move to rivals ITV, said she remains friends with the father of her three children, Dominic Cotton - but that it wasn't easy.
'It has been really difficult because it's been a very public break-up, but I'm managing,' she said. ' I'm fine. I really am.'
The Strictly Come Dancing star confirmed her split from 46-year-old Cotton soon after he posted a profile on a popular dating website last month.
Susanna Reid has denied that the 'curse of Strictly' played a part in the breakdown of her relationship with Dominic Cotton
She also told the newspaper's TV listings guide that she doesn't want - or expect - sympathy from people. 'Why? Things change in people's lives and you can't help that. I can't control what is said about me. The main thing for me is that I'm managing. My kids are calm and Dominic and I are getting on well.'
The brunette also dismissed the idea of a reconciliation. 'We are splitting up,' she insisted. 'I may look fine, but you have to keep some things private.
'My mum and dad have been a great support and I've got good friends.'

Reid also dismissed claims that she is a flirt, saying: 'Whatever people think of me I see myself as a mother of three and a professional journalist. I am not a flirt.'
The admission is just the latest in a series of admissions she has made recently.
Earlier this week she told The Mirror that her time on Strictly Come Dancing was not responsible for the break-up.
'I think people think Strictly was bound up in what happened. It wasn't. Obviously things have been challenging in my personal life but we are getting things sorted. We are still good friends and the kids come first.'
However, after the end of Strictly's TV run in December, Cotton admitted his partner's schedule had been 'tough' and 'really full on'. But, at the time, he also said he was 'looking forward to having my partner back'.
The former couple have three children between them, Sam, 11, Finn, 9 and Jack, 8.
The former BBC Breakfast presenter said Strictly wasn't a factor in the breakdown of her relationship with Mr Cotton, who she has three sons with
Bring on the sunshine in a bold yellow pencil dress
The lovely Susanna Reid looked a million dollars (or should we say pounds) as she posed in this classic yellow pencil dress to celebrate her new role on Good Morning Britain. Teamed with a simple pair of nude stilettos, minimal make-up and a BBC blow-dry, the presenter certainly stood out amongst the rest of the team.
From lemon and canary to pastel, mustard and everything in between, bold yellow hues are surprisingly one of the hottest trends for SS14. Whether you make like Susanna and opt for the full on sunshine ensemble, or tone it down a little by adding a pop of colour in the form of a scarf or a pair of shoes, yellow is a great way to inject some fun into an otherwise understated look.
If you do choose to invest in a sunshine dress, it's important to keep it simple, so stick to neutral accessories and minimal make up to avoid looking too overdone. For a quirky approach to the look, opt for Topshop's scuba cut out dress (below).
