They've been tipped as the next One Direction but the eight piece boyband who were put together during the bootcamp stage of the X Factor, have insisted that they have a different sound to Harry Styles and co, who were also formed on the ITV talent show.
Having failed to do enough to impress the judges individually, Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez Versini, Louis Walsh and Mel B threw James Graham, Reece Bibby, Tom Mann, Casey Johnson, Jake Sims, Charlie Jones, Barclay Beales and Chris Leonard a life line when they offered them the chance to form a mega band. The lads obviously jumped at the chance and will now be seen heading into the judges houses round.
Speaking about their sound and how different it will be from 1D, Charlie told EntertainmentWise: "I think when we find out our final sounds, I don't think it'll be like One Direction's; I think it'll be a little bit more edgy, a little bit more like Ed Sheeran's kind of stuff." Jake went on to add: "There is a lot of us so I think there's going to be a lot more harmonies all the time rather than what One Direction do when they all sing their certain parts."
"We have a lot of respect for them but we just want to do our own thing", Chris clarified.

Despite not sounding like 1D, the boys gushed over the comparisons that they have received when Jake told us: "To be fair, we could be compared to worse people. They're amazing and it's an honour but with that being said there's a lot of pressure because they have done so amazingly well and to compare us to them already is a massive goal, they've set the level for a boy band that's been created on X Factor and we're basically the next boy band after them and Union J. They've set the level and we need to equal if not better that."
Noting how successful One Direction have become since they appeared on the X Factor, Charlie added: "They're the biggest boy band ever, in pop, they're incredible and to be half as good as them would be amazing."
