Sarah Jessica Parker isn't exactly strapped for cash with her multi millions sitting pretty in the bank, but it would have still been a huge shock for the actress to find a cheque written out for a hefty $4,700, just strewn across the streets of New York City earlier today. And rather coincidentally, it looks as though she may have walked straight past a homeless guy right after - talk about timing!
It was a routine Thursday morning for the Sex and the City actress who had just finished running her adorable twin daughters, Marion and Tabitha, to school in Manhattan, when she was strolling along with a female friend and happened to take notice of a piece of paper laying on the floor.
However, Sarah clearly has great instincts as it wasn't just a piece of paper and actually, a whopping great big cheque for thousands upon thousands of dollars. After realising what it was, Sarah and her stunned friend stopped momentarily trying to work out if anyone in front of them may have dropped it, but it looks as though they chose to do the right thing and held onto it for safety.
Rather coincidentally, just moments later, Sarah, 49, and the pal happened to walk past a man who appeared to be sitting on the steps of a building although, busy brandishing around the cheque and talking animatedly, the actress seemed to have completely missed him and he didn't seem to acknowledge her star status or the fact she'd just come across someone else's windfall.

Sarah seems like a generous person so we trust that she'll hand it into a bank or better yet, to a charity!
