Matt Kulesza is doing what most of us should probably be doing anyway - he's making sure his relationships with his Facebook friends are as active in real life as they are online.
Tempted to delete a shedload of his cyber-chums, he decided instead to make some sort of effort with them - and is currently on a mission to meet every single one of the 1,088 contacts for coffee over the course of the next three years.
His mission has propelled him to popularity via his blog, 1000+ Coffees, and he says it's really made a difference. "I was just going to do a cull to get rid of people, but then I thought that I should see if I could get to know them instead," he explained. "It seemed like a cool social experiment, and amazingly has changed my life for the better."
Because it's 2014 and the rule is basically "pictures or it didn't happen", he's made sure to take a snap of every meet-up, along with a quick line about what it was like to meet up with each person. And there's no cheating: old enemy, ex-girlfriend, people he's never actually met in the flesh… he's been determined to meet ALL of them.
And remarkably, he's had two job offers out of it… as well as becoming online-famous.
