Any self-respecting Mean Girls fan knows that October 3rd is Mean Girls Day; the fateful day that Jonathan Bennett's Aaron Samuels asked Lindsay Lohan's Cady Heron what day it was.
"It's October 3rd," she dutifully told him. ICONIC.
And now, ten years later, it seems Aaron - or rather Jonathan - has finally figured out the date all for himself in a brilliant new Vine doing the rounds on this historic date, thanks to BuzzFeed.
Bennett has had a pretty solid career since playing the heart-throb back in '04; and was hitting headlines just a couple of weeks ago when Julianne Hough apparently "outed" him as gay, despite him apparently being comfortably and quietly out for quite some time. Meanwhile his co-stars are mostly enjoying success: Amanda Seyfried's star is still rising as she continues with a string of leading movie roles, and Rachel McAdams is rumoured to be joining True Detective.
Lindsay Lohan is, of course, currently on the West End in Speed-The-Plow, while Lizzy Caplan (Janis Ian) is winning awards nominations and critical acclaim in Masters Of Sex. Lacey Chabert, meanwhile, is starring in a low-grade rom-com that, sadly, looks quite awful.
Happy Mean Girls Day!
