Katy Perry caused chaos when she staged a fake car crash and attacked a man with a piñata stick while dressed as a clown for her latest music video Birthday.
The 29-year-old singer pranked a five-year-old's birthday party while dressed as the scary children's entertainer and according to TMZ, some children were left in tears.
Eye witnesses told the website that many guests at the bash didn't know it was a prank and the stunt left one woman having to walk away from the scene looking 'visibly upset'.

In a clip, Katy is seen whacking a guy with a piñata stick while blindfolded which sends him crashing to the ground.
She then strolls towards a road while still blindfolded and thrashing the piñata stick about from side to side.
The star is followed by a dwarf clown helper who saves her by pulling the star to safety as she approaches a road and an on-rushing car.

In the staged incident the vehicle then swerves to avoid Katy and crashes into a parked car.
Following the collision, Katy's helper quickly steers the raven-haired beauty away from the scene and several people crowd around the wreckage looking visibly concerned.
The incident attracts quite a crowd of people, but later on several of them are seen laughing and clearly not too worried about the situation.

Katy appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday to chat about her undercover music video.
She told the host: 'I went undercover as five of the world's worst birthday entertainers because I was sick of making gorgeous music videos where I'm like sexual.'
Jimmy then joked: 'Yeah, people are sick of that … really tired of looking at you.'

A clip of the video was then played on the show and sees Katy dressed as Kriss The Clown, who says: 'I'm not a birthday party entertainer, I'm just trying to get some cash on the side.'
She then burbs and says: 'Happy birthday kids.'
The clip then cuts to Katy at the five-year-old child's birthday party and sees her being spun around by her dwarf clown helper while blindfolded and holding the piñata stick before staging the fake car crash.
