The actress chose to get hitched in the Chanel frock because of sentimental reasons
For a bride, the dress is usually one of the most important things, with some splashing the cash to make sure it's a one-of-a-kind - but not Keira Knightley.
Because despite her Hollywood star bank balance, the actress chose not to by a bespoke gown to get married in and instead recycled one she already had!
Keira, 29, married Klaxons rocker James Righton in the South of France last May.
And speaking to Red magazine ahead of her first wedding anniversary, she revealed she got hitched in a dress she had already worn to a red carpet event.

Keira wore a pale pink Chanel dress that she wore to the pre-BAFTA party in 2009, because it has sentimental value.
She said: "It was something old, something new, something borrow and something blue. I had something old, which was the dress.
"But it's a dress that I've always had a brilliant time in. Every time I've worn it they've been brilliant nights. I wanted to be able to dance the night away and you can definitely dance in that dress."
But let's hope she found a good dry cleaners after she told the Telegraph last month it ended up being covered in red wine due to a clumsy friend!
She said: "I didn't quite realise the extent of it until I got home. It's quite impressively splattered. But, hey, a good night is a good night and when a dress has had its time, maybe it's had its time.

"I'm pretty sure I can get it out but, if I can't, I'm happy with the memory of a good night and the story of how the dress got destroyed."
However, she made sure the rest of her wedding outfit was new or stuck to tradition.
She added: "The shoes and jacket were very beautifully designed by Karl Lagerfeld and made especially for me, so they were very new!
"I had my friend's ring for something blue and another friend's necklace for something borrowed."
