Hopes of a quick follow-up to the first Fifty Shades Of Grey movie may have been dashed recently, but at least the musical parody SPANK! is moving fast.
The second show in the series - SPANK! Harder - takes its cues from EL James' erotic fiction, and is running at the Harrah's Theatre in New Orleans this weekend.
According to Nola, it shows the character of EB Janet, based on James, as she comes up with a number of adult-themed scenes concerning lead character Tasha (based on Anastasia Steele, played by Dakota Johnson in the upcoming movie) and Hugh Hanson (the equivalent of Jamie Dornan's Christian Grey).

As in the books, a second suitor has been thrown in the mix for the second instalment - in the form of a guy named Carter Carnegie.
Shelley Regner, who plays Tasha, said the atmosphere at the shows can get pretty lively when she gets into the swing of her steamier scenes.
"We have these meet-and-greets during the production run, and we get these middle-aged women who've had a few drinks," she explained. "They're in a good mood, and they all tell me, 'You're so lucky. You must be used to this.' I say, 'No!'"
SPANK! Harder runs at the Hurrah's Theatre until April 13 as part of a four-night-only run on its tour.
"The ladies of the audience … we've had crazy things yelled at us. 'Take your shirt off!' 'I want to take one of the guys home!'," Regner continued.
"We welcome it because it's so fun. It enhances the intimacy between the stage and audience. It's that connection you can only have with live theatre performances.
"I think my middle school teacher is coming. She said, 'I think I'll be blushing most of the time, but I'll be there!'"
