1. His real name is Karim Kharbouch
He got the nickname "French" when he moved from Morroco to the USA aged 13, because that was one of the languages he spoke, as well as Arabic.
"Montana" comes from the drug-cartel kingpin Tony Montana, played by Al Pacino, in Scarface.
2. He's a father
He has a son called Cruz. French had a child with his estranged wife Deen Kharbouch back in 2009.

3. He's had several big arguments with 50 Cent
In an interview he made several comments about 50 Cent's dwindling success, saying he "could have been a lot bigger"
In response, 50 Cent tweeted, "French Montana you ain't Sh!t boy. You out your league talking about me".
