The Duchess of Cambridge made her first solo visit of the royal tour of New Zealand on Saturday morning when she visited the Rainbow Place Children's Hospice in Hamilton, Waikato. Looking resplendent in green she brought her royal charm to the children at the centre as she met with them, their families and staff.
Kate, who became a mother to Prince George, last July is royal patron of the East Anglia Children's Hospices and is a cause close to her heart. It's no surprise then she seemed so pleased on arrival at the centre where she took part in a therapy session.

Chatting to the children, who had gone for an Alice in Wonderland theme for the visit, the Duchess appeared relaxed during the visit.
Kate wore her long brunette locks down for the visit and cose a jade green Erdem coat. While she might be considered a style icon it seems Prince William isn't totally convinced, with the Duchess telling members of the crowd who had gathered to welcome her to the centre, her husband wasn't a fan.

Bev Hayes, 68 told Hello Magazine: "I complemented her on her green dress. She said she liked it but William thought it was a bit bright."
The Duchess arrived in New Zealand on Monday with her son Prince George and husband William and after a day of rest have had a full packed schedule ever since. We've only seen little George once though when he attended a playdate at Government House in Wellington, his first ever official royal engagement.
As a future king he better get used to that!
