Ben Affleck's chances of another Oscars haul are considered in the first teaser clip for Gone Girl, courtesy of Entertainment Tonight.
The show will have the first full peek at the adaptation of Gillian Flynn's novel on Monday (April 14); but in the meantime have kept viewers foaming at the mouth with a short and sweet teaser.

When she goes AWOL on their anniversary, the evidence begins to stack up against him - and viewers/readers are left guessing as to whether he's really the trustworthy protagonist we thought he was.
Gone Girl was No1 on the New York Times bestseller list for eight weeks and lapped up universal critical acclaim, despite a mixed reaction from readers regarding the ending - which Flynn has, incidentally, changed for the movie.
Neil Patrick Harris, Tyler Perry, Kim Dickens and Missi Pyle will also star in the film, which is due out in October.
