The final season of Mad Men is set to air in the US tonight, and Christina Hendricks has teased a sensational end for her character Joan Harris.
The fiery red head plays agency partner Joan in the hit show, and while most actors and actresses would like their characters to live and keep options open for the future, Christina says she wants something "horribly tragic" to happen, hinting at what fans may have in store for them.

In her interview with United Airline's Rhapsody magazine, she said: "As a fan of the show, I want something horribly tragic to happen to her.
"A terrible accident or something, because I think that would be interesting."
Meanwhile, as the last ever season airs thoughts turn to what might be in future for all of the characters and now Vincent Kartheiser has said that his chracter, Peter Campbell, will not be getting his own spinoff show.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, the double Screen Actor Guild Award winner said: "I mean… [there's] a lot of hypotheticals, but yes [I would do it], because it's Matthew Weiner coming to me saying that. I love his writing. I love this character."
Kartheiser the added: "I'd love to continue to explore it, absolutely. But it would never happen. It's not something I would ever… I've never even entertained that thought."
Kartheiser has played junior partner Pete Campbell for seven years, and it sounds as if he's got a few ideas about how his life would end up.
"I think about it as much as probably Pete does, you know?" he said. "I think if I was to say what Pete's dream is, he's some sort of an iconic figure in the advertising world, and people flock to him to find out his secret."
He continued: "You know, he dishes them out as he chooses to whom he chooses. People respect him. His biggest fears are that he becomes unimportant. A shadow, kind of lurking in an office somewhere.
"I don't really know which one is really going to happen. Just like in my own life; it's impossible to say whether that will happen to me."
Meanwhile, Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner recently stated that there will never be a spinoff to the series.
"I completely rule it out," he has been quoted as saying.
Mad Men's final season premieres on Sunday April 12)at 10pm ET on AMC.
