In an interview with The Sun on Sunday, Lily, who is now mum to two little girls, reveals: "I nearly died. But I was numb and I didn't care. I'd just lost my baby and that is a reflection of how numb I was,"
"I held my child and it was really horrific and painful - one of the hardest things that can happen to a person."
Lily credits Sam, who she married in 2011, with getting her through the terrible time: "I had this man standing by my side, who I knew was going to be with me for the rest of my life," she says.
Lily, who previously suffered a miscarriage back in 2008 with then partner Ed Simmons, has decided to speak publically about her grief to help others who are going through the same thing.
