NEW YORK (AP) — E-books for some of Gabriel Garcia Marquez's best known work, including the novel "Love in the Time of Cholera," are coming out for the first time in English.
The Penguin Random House imprints Vintage Books and Vintage Espanol announced Monday that nine English-language e-books will be published Oct. 15. Besides "Love in the Time of Cholera," the releases include the novella "Chronicle of a Death Foretold" and the memoir "Living to Tell the Tale." Marquez's classic novel "One Hundred Years of Solitude" is published in the U.S. by HarperCollins and remains unavailable as an English-language e-book. Vintage Espanol is releasing a Spanish edition next month.
Marquez, winner of the Nobel literature prize in 1982, died in April at age 87.
