When Victoria Beckham celebrated her 40th birthday in style at swanky London haunt, the Arts Club, on Sunday night, she had a pretty exclusive guestlist which included the Spice Girls.
But there was only one person by her side as she left the party and that was her handsome husband, footballer David Beckham, 38.
The chivalrous gent led the way and helped his pretty wife into their car after they partied until 2am together - he also wrapped his blazer around her so she wouldn't get cold.

Victoria has spent the last two weeks marking her milestone birthday and last night the London leg of the jet-setter's celebrations looked as though they had capped it all off perfectly.
After enjoying time with husband David Beckham in LA over the last few weeks, Victoria invited her close family and friends to have a knees-up with her.
And judging by the shots of her star-studded friends leaving the venue, it looked like it a good night was had by all - especially with the Spice Girls in attendance.

David was carrying what looked like a bottle of alcohol in his hand as the pair may well have wanted to carry on the celebrations at home.
Victoria looked elegant in a simple black pencil dress and sky-high heels. She kept her accessories to a minimum, letting a large cocktail ring do the talking.
The expensive emerald and diamond love-token was a gift from David a few years ago and is thought to have been bought from upmarket jewellers Chopard.

While most of Victoria's guests were relatively composed, Spice Girls Mel C and Emma Bunton had really got into the party spirit.
Both were helped separately into a waiting car by Emma's fiance Jade Jones.
But despite his firm grip on Mel, the singer still managed to lose her footing in her towering heels.

While Emma looked more steady on her feet, she collapsed into fits of laughter once she was reunited with a hysterical Sporty Spice.
Both women were dressed in black and white, with Mel looking glamorous in high black patent heels and a short dress.
Emma meanwhile went for a smarter look in a monochrome trouser suit.

Geri however must had some important things to do the next day as she chose to drive to the birthday bash.
Turning 40 seems to have had quite an effect on Victoria, who has spent the last month peppering her Twitter account with images of herself throughout the years.
The notoriously busy businesswoman has also used this special time in her life to spend some quality time with friends and family.

Adopting a fairly casual look for the evening, David stepped out in a black jeans and T-shirt, adding a casual brown trilby hat into the mix.
Earlier in the day, Victoria uploaded a picture of her famous husband whose face was on a bottle of mouthwash. Clearly amused, she wrote: 'GENIUS! Fresh breath Becks! X vb.'
There were a host of famous faces at her party which also included her younger sister Louise Adams.

Gordon Ramsey and his wife Tana Ramsay, who have enjoyed hiking with the Beckhams in LA over the last few weeks, were also seen leaving the venue hand in hand.
Newly single Coldplay star Chris Martin also joined in the festivities and although he was there alone, looked as though he had been enjoying himself.
Madonna's ex husband Guy Ritchie and his fiancee Jacqui Ainsley also managed the evening even though the model is heavily pregnant with their third child.

Despite it already being late for a working mother-of-four, Victoria, the pair still looked relatively fresh-faced.
Victoria was seen breezing through Los Angeles' LAX Airport with sons Brooklyn, 15, Romeo, 11, and Cruz, nine, and daughter Harper, two, on Tuesday night.
Showing off a positively envy-inducing golden California tan, the fashion designer looked happy and relaxed after indulging in some much-needed pampering at a lavish Grand Canyon spa.

She indulged in a spot of pampering at the spa, as well as celebrating with her best friends, Gordon and Tana, with a sumptuous meal at the swanky Nobu eatery in Los Angeles.
