She's had cause to celebrate having enjoyed commercial success with her latest outpouring of music – despite somewhat mixed responses from her doggedly loyal fanbase.
But while LP Kiss Me Once and a variety of TV commitments – amongst them a lucrative new role on The Voice Australia – have pushed Kylie Minogue beneath the spotlight once more, it was her fashion that dominated during her latest public appearance.
The 45-year-old songstress was seen arriving at BBC Maida Vale studios on Thursday afternoon, where she was greeted by a troupe of photo hungry fans.

As always, Kylie spared the time to sign autographs and pose for obligatory selfies, and her momentary dalliance at the studio gates gave onlookers the chance to give her ensemble a considered once-over.
The Australian hit-maker had opted for a sleeveless jersey and matching bottoms fashioned to resemble a pair of smart jogging pants.
But while the outfit would have fitted into a local gym without judgement – her choice of footwear certainly wouldn't.

Indeed, Kylie wore a pair of highly distinctive monochrome heels from Christian Louboutin – and they caught the eye as she greeted those who had gathered for a glimpse of the veteran star.
On a bright, sunny day in the capital she completed her look with a pair of large sunglasses which remained firmly fixed to the bridge of her nose during the brief exchange with her fans.
The All The Lovers singer has made headlines over the last few weeks.
She was linked to comedian Andy Lee after the pair spent time together at the Logies after party but sources claim that the pair are merely 'just friends'.
She also had to deal with accusations from outspoken Grinspoon frontman Phil Jamieson that her rendition of The Script's hit song Hall Of Fame on the series three opener of Australian singing competition The Voice was mimed.
The star got teary-eyed on Monday night's episode of the program after 30-year-old singer Beth Anderson's emotional story of loss played at her heartstrings.
