Emma Stone Denies Anorexia Rumors: I Eat Sandwiches!
May 2nd 2014, 17:58, by Tyler Johnson

Emma Stone has been in the spotlight for several months straight now, traveling the globe to promote The Amazing Spider-Man 2

As a result of being photographed at dozens of red carpet events, the actress has become the subject of harsh criticism regarding her weight and appearance.

Now Emma is fighting back against the rumor mill, denying that she's ill or suffering from an eating disorder.

"I've seen a lot of comments that say, 'Eat a sandwich' or 'She looks sick,'" Stone said in a recent interview with USA Today. "I'm not sick. I eat sandwiches."

Emma dismissed the critiques of her body as standard Internet bullying, but also stated that she's negatively affected by online cruelty, admitting, "I've been looking at myself in the mirror, being mean to myself."

Stone went on to say the thing that angers her most about hateful weight criticism is the way such "shaming" impacts young girls.

However, the actress takes full responsibility for her own self-esteem and encourages her fans to do the same: "I truly believe that nothing really affects you or can really bother you unless you already feel that way about yourself."

So get yourself on good terms with the man (or woman) in the mirror and the Haterade will roll right off your back. Wise words, from the lovely Ms. Stone.

We'll take advice from anyone who can destroy Jimmy Fallon in a lip sync battle. In addition to being beautiful, girls got some serious pretend pipes.
