Frank Ocean Coming Out Of Hiding To Perform At 2014 Met Gala?
May 1st 2014, 14:28

Frank Ocean hasn't been seen in public for months but sources claim the R&B crooner will be making a comeback to perform at this year's Met Gala which will be taking place next week.

Following on from Kanye West's epic performance at last year's coveted fashion party, 'Thinkin Bout You' singer Frank will reportedly grace the stage at this year's event which is set to take place in New York City on Monday, according to the NY Post's Page Six.

The 25-year-old, who attended the Met Gala last year, has taken a step back from the spotlight over the last few months to focus solely on completing his anticipated second album.

Frank released his debut 'Channel Orange' in July which peaked at number in both the US and UK and spawned the hit singles 'Pyramids,' 'Lost,' Sweet Life' and 'Super Rich Kids.'

The singer, who has left Twitter, announced in October that he would be retreating to focus on his new album which he said would be recorded in various countries.

"It's another cohesive thing, bordering on a concept record again," Frank told BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe last year, revealing that it won't be released until summer of this year.

The 'Swim Good' hitmaker has not performed live since last summer when he performed at London's Wireless Festival, accompanied by a string of shows in the capital where he previewed some of his new material.

He was last spotted gracing the red carpet at TIME 100's Most Influential People party in New York earlier this week.
