After a night of highs and lows, and a look back at an incredible year in the Soap world, it was time to crown the biggest award of the night at the British Soap Awards 2014 - Best British Soap. This year, the accolade went to Hollyoaks!
Presented by Sir Ian McKellen, the responsibility of speech-making went to Kieron Richardson, who said: "Every single year we have to choose one person to speak if we win Hollyoaks for Best Soap, and we've always been seen as the underdog, and this year before we got in here, one of the press officers came up and said Kieron, it's your turn if we win this year, and I was like 'oh whatever, so i have nothing!"

"Apart from the fact that Team Hollyoaks have the best fans out there that have voted, thank you so much. We have the best cast, the best crew, the best production company Lime Pictures - thank you to Brian and everybody involved. This is for you!"
The soap also congratulated all the other soaps for their fantastic years, and for everyone for voting.
It was also a big night for Julie Hesmondhalgh and David Neilson after their brilliant and moving cancer storyline, who between them won Best Actress and Actor, Best Single Episode for 'Hayley's Death,' Best On-Screen Partnership AND Best Storyline for 'Hayley's Cancer.' Phew!
Congratulations Hollyoaks and to all the other night's winners!
Do you think anyone missed out or are you happy with all the winners?
