It has now been more than 10 years since Mean Girls was released and Amanda Seyfried, who played Karen Smith, has spoken out about the anniversary, admitting that the film has gone down in history.
Amanda appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night (May 22) and she spoke out about how much popular Mean Girls is on her Twitter profile than any other topic.
She told the US host: "I check my retweets sometimes. It's like getting a 'like.' I usually only get like 50-100, which is good, I guess," adding: "But when I tweeted, 'On Wednesdays, we wear pink,' I got like 18,000 retweets. How crazy is that?"
The actress then went on to call Tina Fey a "genius" for creating the much-loved flick, saying: "Man, this has gone into history."

Fallon also brought up Karen's unusual talent in the movie, but Seyfried was quick to beat him to it, saying: "She can tell the weather by feeling herself up."
Coincidentally, this then led on to Amanda telling Fallon about what she wanted to be when she grew up, as a little girl, saying that she dreamed of becoming a meteorologist.
"I didn't realize you had to be smart," she joked. "About the time Twister came out with Helen Hunt—my idol—I would dress up in these little khaki shorts and this wife beater and go outside and try to figure out what was happening in the clouds. I had this big weather binder. I was obsessed with the weather."
But, what exactly is a weather binder? "It's just a collection of printed out articles about weather," Amanda said. "Some kids do drugs. I printed out information about cumulus clouds and anvils and such."
