John Mayer 'Has A Crush On Glee's Lea Michele' Following Katy Perry Split
May 23rd 2014, 17:22

Could Lea be the next celeb lady to date Mr. Mayer?

John Mayer definitely loves those showbiz romances and the latest that is said to have caught his eye is Glee actress Lea Michele.

John has previously dated the likes of Taylor Swift and Jennifer Aniston and with him recently splitting from Katy Perry - could it be time to move on to yet another brunette?

"John's had a crush on Lea for a while," an insider told Star, adding that John is "constantly telling her how beautiful and talented she is."

And with Lea tragically losing her boyfriend Cory Monteith from a drug overdose last July, sources have said that she is definitely not going to be jumping into a serious relationship anytime soon.

"She just wants someone to have fun with," continues the "friend." "She isn't about to give her heart away to someone like him."

John isn't the only surprise romance news in terms of Lea this week, with her also revealing that she has previously dated Glee co-star Matthew Morrison.

In a snippet taken from her book Brunette Ambition, Us Weekly reports Lea recalling the moment she met her co-stars including Matthew, who was cast as the Glee club teacher, Mr Schuester.

She remembered in her book: "When we shot the pilot, I met Cory Monteith, Kevin McHale, Amber Riley, and Chris Colfer for the first time. I had worked on Broadway with Jenna Ushkowitz and Matthew Morrison before.

"Matt had been a friend of mine for years, and in fact we'd actually dated back in the day for a Broadway beat."
