Britain's Got Talent 2014: It's A Busy Night For Simon Cowell As He Judges Himself And Finally Presses His Golden Buzzer!

It's about time! One act impresses the notoriously grumpy judge so much that he's forced to press the golden buzzer

Britain's got talent is usually packed with a mix of the good, bad and downright weird- and tonight didn't disappoint. From an egotistical 'dancer', to some sassy Frenchmen, here's our round-up of the best and worse tonight.

The Good

Addict Initiative:

This dance troupe looked very ominous and mysterious when they first graced the stage- even ignoring David's friendly questions. But it was clear that this lot meant business as they performed an explosive routine which left the judges in awe. Simon Cowell summed them up perfectly, describing them as 'refreshingly evil.'

Men in heels:

Attractive Frenchmen? Check. High heels? Check. Spice Girls medley? Check. What's not to love about the French dancing trio men in heels? Alesha said that they were 'ten times better than any female dancer we've seen on stage tonight', whilst David encouraged them to take off their clothes! Good advice there David.

Bars and Melody:

Just when we thought the show couldn't get any better, along comes Charlie and Leondre who blew everyone away with their fantastic version of Twista and Faith Hill's 'Hopeful.' With lyrics relating to Leondre's past bullying ordeal, there wasn't a dry eye in sight and they earned a standing ovation from everyone. One person who particularly loved it was Simon, who had pound signs in his eyes as well as tears. Urged on by the audience, the talent show supremo pressed his golden buzzer much to the delight of the duo. He told them: 'I think that record could be a hit. I really, really like you two'- and we do too!

The Bad

Simon Cowell:

Yes, you read that right. Simon's namesake appeared on the show hoping to make his parents proud. Unfortunately after a good start, things slowly went downhill as he started to sing. Murdering Diana Ross' hit 'When you tell me that you love me', Simon lost the love of the judges, especially the real Mr Cowell, he said: 'you've no idea how much I wanted this to be great, so I could say at the end of the show 'the winner of Britain's Got Talent is Simon Cowell'. Unfortunately, he followed up by telling the hopeful singer, 'Simon, I never thought I'd say this but Simon Cowell it's a no.'

Rafi Raja:

Bollywood dancer Rafi had us all fooled into believing his heart was aching over a relationship that couldn't be, however it turned out that the only love he had was for himself! Cue a horrible personality and even more horrible dancing. And it seemed the 'dancer' couldn't take no for an answer and carried on 'dancing' long after Simon had slated him. Take the hint love!

Matthew Higgins:

Looking at him, you wouldn't think that Shakira was Matthew Higgins was inspiration. But that didn't deter Matthew from strutting his funky stuff, much to the amusement of David. Simon however was not amused and told him: 'You could go to any kebab shop at 3 in the morning, someone puts that record on and that's what you're going to see. It was just drunk dancing.' Don't know what kebab shops Simon goes to!

Who was your favourite tonight?
