Jennifer Lawrence has spoken of a possible "backlash" against her following her whirlwind rise to popularity, but a survey into the new X-Men film tells a different story.
New outing Days Of Future Past has hit cinemas, and Variety reports that nearly three quarters of people surveyed by Fandango said they bought a ticket because of her role as Mystique.
The blockbuster is expected to easily dominate the Memorial Day Box Office chart in the US, with almost 90% of weekend pre-sales through Fandango being for that film alone.

The survey also revealed that 88% of viewers of the new film have seen the previous movies in the series, while 82% are already excited for next instalment X-Men: Apocalypse.
Lawrence was barely known when the first film came out, but the decision to make her role bigger is clearly paying dividends.
Later this year she'll have to do it all again - this time for The Hunger Games, when the third film Mockingjay - Part 1 is unveiled.
