5 Seconds of Summer are often trailed by screaming girls wherever they go but the boys admit they actually find it "strange" that they have thousands of female fans that enjoy their music.
The Australian boy band soared to number one in the UK with their debut single 'She Looks So Perfect' while their EP of the same name peaked at number two on the US Billboard 200 chart last month, but it seems the boys are unaware that they probably have more female fans than male that are buying their music.

In an interview with Australia's Today, 5SOS' Luke Hemmings said: "It's such a strange thing for girls to like our band," while Calum Hood chimed in: "I feel like they think I'm cooler than I actually am."
Michael Clifford added: "I think they're all playing a big practical joke on us."
The lads are currently on tour in their native Down Under and were spotted arriving in Perth this week where they were greeted by a swarm of fans at the airport.
The group then headed over to Sydney where they again took time out to take selfies with their supporters at the airport.
5SOS will be releasing their third single 'Don't Stop' as their second official single and will be hoping to replicate the success of their debut track.
