When asked whether he and Songz would ever bury their hatchet, August Alsina snapped on Keshia Chante' from 106 & Park.
"So, you just gonna against the grain and go against everything that I just–…. I just told y'all not to ask me that s*** when I got up here."
Yep. That's a pretty sure sign he's not done feuding with his former friend.
August Alsina Goes Off About Trey Songz
Chante', flustered by the exchange, kept her cool and said she was just asking what all the ladies wanted to know. That didn't matter to Alsina, who was there to promote his new album, Testimony.
He began talking over her while she tried to explain her reason for asking the question and then co-host Bow Wow stepped in to get August to intro his new music video, set to world premiere on the broadcast.
As for the feud between August Alsina and Trey Songz, that dates back to 2013 when both Songz and Chris Brown appeared on Alsina's "I Luv This Sh*t."
In 2014, Alsina gave the following statement to Rap Up magazine:
"I don't really f*** with Trey right now. We don't get along right now. We ain't on the same page. He did some other s*** and we just don't rock. Like I tell people all the time, show me that you're this person on day one… You should always be that person. We were supposed to have a show together and it just went left 'cause I can't deal with n***s' egos and attitudes 'cause I'm just a real n**** comin' through and I'm rockin'."
He said a lot without saying much at all, and he certainly made his point that his beef with Songz is not up for discussion.
