Don't you just hate it when you're a victim of mistaken identity? Well that's probably what American Idol alumni, Nikko Smith is thinking ever since Love & Hip Hop star Mimi Faust's sex tape came out starring another Nikko Smith.
With a teaser for the very graphic sex tape out in public, TMZ have reported on the American Idol alumni insisting that he is not the man in the adult video after getting worried calls from his close ones and fans.
Nikko, who auditioned for American Idol in 2005 and came in ninth place, went on to declare that he's never met Mimi.

Despite the confusion, Nikko didn't appear to be too troubled by it as he told the gossip news site: "There could be worse things linked to my name. At least the guy didn't murder someone."
However, Mimi's decision to film her steamy bedroom antics has been ridiculed by celebrities and fans. Reacting to the tape, R&B singer and former co-star K.Michelle posted on Twitter:
"Sis, @mimfaust was his roommate home or nah?" in reference to her former claims that Nikko was actually in a relationship with his male house mate.
