Last night's episode of The Voice saw Usher's turn to choose his finalists for the live show with the R&B super star picking an act that fellow coach Adam Levine had axed from his team during the battle rounds.
Having decided to let Josh Kaufman go during the battle rounds stage, Usher took the opportunity to snap him up right away. And it was a decision that paid off when Kaufman impressed the coaches so much that Usher gave him a place in his top three.
However, there was no feelings of jealousy between Adam and Usher as the Maroon 5 frontman told the talented singer that he was still rooting for him despite no longer mentoring him.

Whilst Adam quipped: "Just remove the dagger from my heart", when Josh performed It Will Rain, the singer then went on to say: "I'm just so relieved and so happy that you're still in this, because you deserve to be.
"I think you have a really unique and incredible voice and honest to God I hope you make it to the top, I really do. I have that much love for you and what you do."
Revealing that his wife has a soft spot for him, Blake Shelton said of Miranda Lambert's feelings: "My wife and I watch this show - you're one of her favorites on this show. She's like, 'Oh my God, shut up, put the dogs outside, pause it, turn everything off'.
"You're on the of the best singers on The Voice this year - you're that good. I wish that there were still steals left."
Bria Kelly and TJ Wilkins were the other two acts that Usher picked and made him declare: "I have a great team. I believe in their talent, I believe in their ability."
However, it was the end of the road for Melissa Jimenez and Stevie Jo who failed to do enough to stay in the competition.
