'It Still Doesn't Feel Real': Paul Walker's Brother Cody Admits Still Struggling To Cope With Death
Apr 25th 2014, 16:42

Paul Walker's youngest brother has admitted that he is still struggling to come to terms with the Hollywood actor's shocking death last year, revealing that it "still doesn't feel real" that his eldest sibling is no longer with him.

The Fast & Furious actor was killed in a tragic car crash along with his friend Roger Rodas in California on November 30 at the age of 40 and his brother Cody Walker, 25, is currently promoting his last completed movie Brick Mansions.

Cody also filmed scenes for Fast & Furious 7 recently, replacing scenes which Paul didn't finish before his death but it seems his brother's untimely passing is still taking its toll almost five months later as he becomes overwhelmed with emotion while talking about his late sibling in a new interview.

"Right now, a whole lot of time has not gone by yet," Cody told Fox News.

"It still doesn't feel real, because sometimes, working in this industry, making films, he'd be away from his family three, four, six months at a time, you know. And my only interaction would be a phone call. So, I know it's going to take a while."

Cody was spotted on set of the latest flick in the Fast & Furious franchise alongside Vin Diesel and Ludacris, but when asked about his involvement, he said: "I can't talk about that."

Speaking about Paul's role in Brick Mansions, Cody revealed: "Paul had been training in martial arts for many, many years. Brazilian jujitsu was his choice. Everyone's so used to seeing Paul behind (the wheel of) a car all the time, and not really seeing that part of him.

"Anyone that's ever met Paul …," Cody continued before choking on his words.

"He would tell me how jealous of me he was because I still had my anonymity. And he's like, 'I can't just go to the movies. I can't catch the films I want to see. You've still got that, man.' And here he is, talking. It was just so funny to hear that come from him."
