Oprah Winfrey, Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Lopez, Eva Longoria, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are among the long list of stars who have already taken on the chilly task.
And on Monday, it was Rita Ora's turn to undergo a chilly baptism of as she became the latest celebrity to join the Ice Bucket Challenge.
Wearing a black sports bra, cuffed blue jeans and a pair of black and white flip-flops, the singer struggled to conceal her discomfort as two men tipped large buckets of ice over her head.

The 23-year-old was seen jumping and shivering in reaction to the sudden dip in her body temperature as curious onlookers snapped photographs.
Following her chilly challenge, Rita posted a video of the moment on her Instagram account, writing: 'I had to take it to the streets of NYC'
She then handed the challenge gauntlet to actress Katie Holmes, designer Donna Karan and models Jourdan Dunn and Kate Upton, adding: 'Come on ladies!! #DOIT'

The Ice Bucket Challenge, which sees people getting drenched in a chilly mixture of freezing cold water and ice cubes, has been backed by The ALS Association.
It involves challengers taking part in the ice water deed within 24 hours and donating $10.
Alternatively, if they don't want to take part in the icy challenge they are given the chance to donate at least $100 to an ALS charity of their choice.

This new trend aims to raise money for sufferers of neurodegenerative illness Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, otherwise known as Motor Neurone Disease or Lou Gehrig's Disease.
The ALS Association have announced that they have received a mammoth $13.3 million in donations from over 250,000 people in just three weeks thanks to the awareness-raising stunt.
Lady Gaga, Suki Waterhouse, Cara Delevingne and Iggy Azalea are also among those who have taken part in the challenge.
