The line up for this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing is shaping up to be a good one following the announcement that former Big Brother star Alison Hammond will be appearing on the show.

Alison, who can be seen interviewing some of the world's biggest celebrities for This Morning, is no stranger to reality TV shows having also appeared in I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

But there won't be any bug eating on the show, instead, Alison will be put through her paces as she prepares to impress the judges.

Speaking of her impending appearance on the hit BBC show, Alison said:

"I am absolutely overjoyed to be joining the Strictly team. I am ready to immerse myself in glitter and hard work, with a dash of fun along the way!"

Alison has become the latest star to be added to the line up (WENN)

But she's not the only one who is going to be donning her dancing shoes as two other stars have been confirmed.

Please step forward Andy Murray's mum Judy and The Saturdays' Frankie Bridge nee Sandford (for those left wondering who Frankie Bridge is)

We're sure Andy will be cheering his mum on (WENN)

Judy has become a well known face on the tennis courts whenever her sons Andy and Jamie Murray have been playing. Excited to start her Strictly Come Dancing journey, the self confessed SCD fan commented in a statement:

"I'm a huge Strictly Come Dancing fan but a total armchair dancer. It's going to be a big challenge for me and for whoever has to dance with me but I absolutely can't wait to get started!"

Keen to get started on her Strictly transformation, Frankie who knows how to bust a move from her time in the highly energetic S Club Juniors and The Saturdays, said:

"I'm such a huge fan of Strictly! I've always wanted to be a part of the show – it looks like so much fun and the costumes are just gorgeous. Like so many little girls, I used to take dance lessons when I was in primary school and I really love dancing but this is going to be so different from anything I have done with The Saturdays.

"I just can't wait to get started!"

We reckon Frankie is going to go far in the competition (WENN)

Keep em coming BBC! We can't wait to find out who else has signed up for the new series.
